One Platform, Many Possible System Designs

Luxriot EVO supports thousands of camera and device models from more than 140 manufacturers, plus ONVIF standards. This makes it particularly useful when an organisation has inherited a mixture of camera brands over time rather than starting from a blank sheet.

For a single site, EVO S provides professional recording and monitoring. For larger estates, EVO Global adds central management, organisation hierarchy, detailed permissions, failover, archive replication, central-server mirroring and other enterprise features.

Use the Equipment That Still Makes Sense

Videcom's approach is not to replace cameras simply because the recording platform is changing. We can review the existing camera estate, identify what can remain, and concentrate investment on weak recorders, unsuitable cameras, storage, networks or sites where replacement genuinely adds value.

Find and Export Evidence Quickly

Luxriot is designed for investigation as well as live monitoring and recording. Operators can review recorded video across multiple cameras, use bookmarks and event information to locate incidents, and export relevant footage for investigation or evidential use.

Bringing cameras into one VMS also gives operators a consistent way to search, review and export footage instead of learning different recorder systems at different sites.

Design for Resilience

Larger CCTV systems may need more than reliable recording during normal operation. EVO Global provides resilience options including failover, archive replication and central-server mirroring, helping reduce the impact of server or site failures where the application requires it.

Videcom can help determine which resilience measures are appropriate rather than adding complexity where it provides little practical benefit.

Fit CCTV Into the Wider IT Environment

Luxriot provides detailed user permissions, organisation hierarchy and integration options suited to organisations where CCTV forms part of a wider managed IT estate.

For schools, academy trusts and other multi-site organisations, this can make CCTV easier to manage within established IT and security policies rather than operating as a collection of unrelated standalone recorders.

Work With Your Existing CCTV and IT Teams

Moving to Luxriot does not necessarily mean replacing an existing CCTV installer, IT provider or internal support team. Videcom can provide Luxriot software, licensing, system design and specialist technical support while working alongside the people already responsible for cameras, networks and IT infrastructure.

Built Around Standard IT Infrastructure

Luxriot runs on standard Microsoft Windows platforms, allowing systems to be designed around familiar commercial server and workstation hardware.

This helps larger customers align CCTV with normal IT practices for servers, storage, user management, backups, cyber security and lifecycle planning.
